On February 19, 2023, a pivotal meeting took place between the Chinese Arbitration Association (CAA) and the Tainan City Government, it marked a significant step towards enhancing dispute resolution mechanisms within governmental operations. Ms. Corrina Lo, Head of the Kaohsiung Office of the CAA, along with Legal Specialist Mr. David Huang, met with Mr. Tien-hou Yu, the Deputy Secretary-General of Tainan City Government. The discussions centered on the crucial role of the arbitration system in assisting the government to effectively address disputes.

The dialogue was aimed at fostering cooperation between the two entities and highlighting the advancements the CAA has made in its arbitration management practices. Deputy Secretary-General Yu, who has conducted extensive research on various dispute resolution mechanisms, recognized the CAA's efforts to enhance arbitration services. He acknowledged that arbitration offers multiple choices for the government to resolve disputes it encounters in its operations.

This engagement underscores the growing recognition of arbitration as an efficient and adaptable solution for dispute resolution within government sectors, and the CAA's role in promoting its adoption and implementation.
