本會吳永乾理事長於本（112）年8月9日中午以「訴訟外紛爭解決機制(Alternative Dispute Resolution, ADR)的發展及運用」為題，受邀至台北市中興扶輪社演講。

吳理事長扼要介紹ADR的發展背景以及常見的ADR機制，如協商、和解、調解及仲裁等，並針對調解及仲裁實務進行深入說明。在場30餘位扶輪社員對於本會提供的仲裁及爭議調解服務特別有興趣，問答階段互動熱烈。

吳理事長強調本會是國內歷史最悠久、制度最健全的仲裁機構，無論是案件管理、仲裁規則、仲裁人專業素養或軟硬體設備都是國內首屈一指的，也累積了最豐富的案件管理經驗，可以提供當事人最完善的仲裁行政服務。本會爭議調解中心則是國內唯一民間調解機構，除了具有多名經專業培訓的調解人外，也積極推動「促進式調解」，經常受到各單位邀請協助辦理調解人訓練課程。若遇有民事爭議，建議以本會提供的仲裁及調解服務為解決爭議途徑之首選。

On August 9, 2023, Dr. Joe Y. C. Wu, Chairman of CAA, was invited to address the Rotary Club of Taipei Chung Shing, shedding light on the realm of Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADRs).

Commencing with an concise overview, Chairman Wu delved into the evolution of ADRs and its diverse mechanisms. Further, he elucidated the intricacies of mediation and arbitration practices. Full of enthusiasm, the Rotary Club members engaged in a stimulating dialogue, expressing keen interest in CAA's adept dispute resolution services and prompting a flurry of inquiries.

CAA, holding distinction as Taiwan's most seasoned and comprehensive arbitral institution, stands as a paragon of exemplary case management. With preeminent arbitration rules, reputable arbitrators, and state-of-the-art facilities combine to render unparalleled administrative services to all parties involved. The CAA Mediation Center, a singular private mediation establishment in Taiwan, boasts a cadre of adept mediators trained in the nuances of "facilitative mediation." The outreach extends as we routinely conduct mediator training courses for external entities.
