本會與全國律師聯合會合辦「2023臺灣仲裁週」系列活動於10月23日至10月29日盛大舉行後圓滿落幕。

臺灣仲裁週今年邁入第四屆。回顧過去第一、二屆臺灣仲裁週分別於臺中、高雄巡迴舉辦，旨在促進廣大社會各界對訴訟外紛爭解決機制的瞭解；自第三屆(2022)開始，我們將活動擴展至全臺灣，覆蓋了北、中、南地區。今(2023)年第四屆仲裁週更仿效巴黎、香港等仲裁發達城市之作法，廣邀各地律師公會、律師事務所、產業公協會及行業仲裁機構於活動期間內承辦講座，共同為推廣訴訟外紛爭解決機制而努力，獲得廣大迴響，意義非凡。
 

今年系列活動包括開幕儀式專題演講1場、系列研討會/課程講習共11場。活動內容涵蓋不同產業爭議解決機制的最新實務發展，其中包括具有豐富歷史的臺北國際仲裁暨調解研討會，從科技運用及全球經濟的角度，探討了國際爭端解決所面臨的挑戰及變革。


 

透過舉辦仲裁週活動，使來自法律界、產業界及學界的人士得以充分交流，並加深對於仲裁的認識，使仲裁機制的使用更為普及。本會未來將持續舉辦系列的推廣活動，強化大眾對仲裁的瞭解，也敬請期待明年度更精采的2024臺灣仲裁週。
 

The recently concluded 2023 Taiwan Arbitration Week (TAW), a collaborative initiative between the Chinese Arbitration Association (CAA) and the Taiwan Bar Association (TWBA), marked a significant milestone in its history. The event, which wrapped up on October 29, signified its fourth successful iteration.

TAW tracing its origins, began in 2020 and 2021 with events held in Taichung and Kaohsiung, respectively. However, since 2022, the scope of TAW has expanded and covered the entire region of Taiwan. This year, inspired by similar events in Paris and Hong Kong, TAW included the broader arbitration community in its celebrations. This inclusive approach led to involvement from bar associations, law firms, industry groups, and arbitration bodies from various regions, all contributing to a series of engaging seminars during the week.

The 2023 edition of TAW featured an enriching array of events, including a notable opening keynote and a total of 11 seminars and workshops. These sessions covered the latest advancements in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) across diverse industries. A highlight was the Taipei International Conference on Arbitration and Mediation, which offered insights into the evolving landscape of international dispute resolution, particularly in the context of technological advances and global economic trends.

TAW has emerged as a pivotal platform for professionals from legal, industrial, and academic backgrounds to share insights and enhance their understanding of ADR. The event plays a crucial role in promoting the adoption of arbitration and mediation techniques. With an eye towards the future, we eagerly anticipate the continuation of these enlightening activities and the upcoming 2024 Taiwan Arbitration Week.
